Children from under 7 to under 10 play organised non-competitive football in the Dorset FA mini-soccer league. Mini-soccer is played using equipment and pitch sizes that are appropriate for the each age group. This gives children the chance to see plenty of the ball in fun, exciting games with loads of opportunities to attack goals that are also the right size for the young goalkeepers to protect. The youngest age groups play five a side, progressing to seven a side at under 9.
